Lots of innovation at the Federal President's 2010 Summer Party

The newly-elected Federal President - Christian Wulff - welcomed 5,000 guests to the park at Bellevue Palace

Two days after being elected, the new Federal President welcomed around 5,000 distinguished citizens with a speech on this year's Summer Party motto "Joy - Change - Solidarity: 20 Years of German Unity". 300 artists – including the Federal Youth Orchestra under the guidance of Kurt Masur, Peter Maffay and his band, the RIAS Chamber Choir and artists from Berlin's "Distel" cabaret – performed on three stages at several different venues. The agency CB.e Clausecker | Bingel. Ereignisse AG presented a fresh event concept integrating the palace park's garden character and the presidential garden's arcades.

Collaborating directly with CB.e, RÖDER designed four new and exclusive temporary structures, which were premiered at this fabulous event: the new Medium and Light arched tents and the innovative Bodega SP models provided the event with an attractive framework. In all, 68 RÖDER tents with more than 1,800 square meters of space were available to sponsors, guests and artists for presentation, catering and performance purposes.
