For more than 15 years now, RÖDER has been supplying the trade fair tents for the largest regional consumer trade fair, Allgäuer Festwoche (Allgäu Festival Week), in Kempten, Germany

Each year, the RÖDER team is faced with the challenge of erecting the tents in the centre of Kempten, as this event is not held in classical trade fair grounds, but extensively in landscaped areas with mature trees and planting. Each time, they have to position the tents within the landscaped areas between the trees and the borders with inch-perfect accuracy.

However, this somewhat unusual exhibition space is responsible for much of the charm and the special atmosphere of the trade fair, as visitors often combine their trade fair attendance with a stroll through the beautiful Kempten City Park.

In addition to Kempten Tourismus und Veranstaltungsservice (tourism and event service) as the operator of the trade fair tents, the Gasthaus Waldhäusle (park inn) and Hotel Waldhorn (park terrace) have been loyal and satisfied RÖDER customers for many years now.

And RÖDER was also commissioned with supplying the large festival tent at the trade fair for the very first time in 2010, a tent that is operated by the festival innkeepers Schmid / Vogler. Together with the two privately-owned breweries Engelbräu and Zötler from Rettenberg and interior designer Christine Holthaus, the festival innkeepers joined forces with RÖDER to design a festival tent that received praise from all sides.

The friendly atmosphere of the new tent - which was also achieved by the newly-manufactured blue-white roof covering and the transparent gables above the entrance area - convinced both the operators and visitors in equal measure. The printed gable wall with the images of the Grünten region and the boxes made from light wood and used as raised seating areas and interior partitions brought the special flair of the Allgäu region into the tent.

The air within the festival tent was kept cool and fresh by the roof-mounted roof vents, ensuring that the atmosphere remained pleasant even when the tent was full. A covered beer garden in the entrance area with an attractive high-point roof rounded off the harmonious overall picture of the tent facility.

With this, RÖDER supplied all the tents used at the Allgäuer Festwoche for the very first time in 2010.
